The Acoustic Evenings series at the Athenaeum showcases some of the finest acoustic musicians in San Diego. Three acts fill each program and attentive audiences delight in the intimacy of the unplugged storytelling format. Refreshments are available at the intermission reception and post-concert meet-and-greet. San Diego Music Hall of Fame founder Jefferson Jay curates and hosts the concert series. The project advances the Athenaeum’s commitment to support diverse San Diego talent. Acoustic Evenings is an unforgettable and personal experience for San Diego music lovers.

We are proud to be hosting our 5th Mardi Gras cruise down on Mission Bay featuring some of San Diego's most exciting bands including the Euphoria Brass Band, (5 time SDMA winner) Whitney Shay and her great band, the Ass Pocket Whiskey fellas, the Zydeco Mudbugs, The Tighten Ups, Nathan James (solo), the funky and jazzy Piatt Pund band, & Mr. "Low Down" Andy Lewis (solo.) We'll have two ticket options include our special VIP dinner cruise package that includes early boarding (5 PM), guaranteed seating, a gourmet dinner buffet. Also, we'll general admission (boarding at 6:45) is just $45! We'll have costume contests and of course there will be lots of DANCING!!!!! Live music will perform on all three levels for the entire evening! Our cruise will leave the dock at 7:30 PM with a 4 hour cruise on the calm waters of Mission Bay.
